Confirm the departure and arrival airports, flight times, baggage allowance, hotel location, room category and meal plan. Check whether transfers and insurance are included, whether air conditioning is free, how far the beach is and whether sunbeds carry an extra charge. Families should also check children’s facilities and sleeping arrangements.

The chances of finding lower prices are often better in early June and during the second half of September, outside the busiest school holiday period. July and August usually offer the most reliable beach weather, but demand and hotel occupancy are higher. Prices always depend on the remaining capacity of a particular flight and hotel.

Waiting can be risky when you need a specific resort, family room, beachfront hotel or departure airport. Well-rated properties may sell out before the peak season begins. Last Minute works better for travellers who can change their dates, departure city, board basis or hotel category.

Polish citizens may travel with a valid passport or physical national ID card, and every child needs their own document. No visa is required. Foreign nationals living in Poland should check the rules for their citizenship and make sure their residence card, visa or other re-entry document remains valid.
