• EU/UK/US Citizens: Visa-free entry for up to 90 days.
• Other Nationalities: If your citizenship requires a visa, you can apply for a Morocco e-Visa online. Holders of a valid Polish Residence Card (Karta Pobytu) or a valid multiple-entry Schengen/US/UK visa are eligible for this simplified electronic authorization, avoiding the need to visit an embassy.
• TIP:  Always check the current passport validity requirements—it must be valid for at least 6 months upon entry.

Morocco is a year-round destination — each season offers something different.

• Autumn (Sept–Nov) — the ideal season: warm sea, fewer crowds, lower prices
• Spring (Mar–May) — blooming Marrakech, mild climate, start of beach season in Agadir
• Winter (Dec–Feb) — mild (+18–22°C), Agadir beach open year-round, great escape from Polish winter
• Summer — very hot in cities (+35–40°C); Agadir is saved by Atlantic ocean breeze
• Ramadan 2026 (Feb–Mar): restaurants closed during the day, a different but interesting rhythm of life

Morocco combines the medina of Fez, Sahara dunes, the Atlas Mountains and the Atlantic coast in a single trip.

• Marrakech — Jemaa el-Fna square, medina souks, Majorelle Garden and Bahia Palace
• Fez — the world's largest UNESCO medina, tannery quarter and the ancient Al-Qarawiyyin university
• Chefchaouen — the blue mountain city in the Rif, one of the most photogenic places on Earth
• Sahara (Merzouga) — overnight in a Bedouin camp, sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes (up to 150 m high)
• Essaouira — a white Atlantic port town with surfing, fresh seafood and a bohemian atmosphere

They offer fundamentally different experiences — beach relaxation versus cultural immersion.

• Agadir — beach resort: wide sandy beach, all-inclusive hotels, Atlantic ocean, safe and comfortable
• Marrakech — city for discovery: bustling souks, riads, hammams, restaurants and excursions; no beach, hot in summer
• Essaouira — the middle ground: beach, atmospheric old town and a cool Atlantic breeze
• Best itinerary: 3–4 days in Marrakech + 4–5 days in Agadir or Essaouira

Morocco is generally safe for tourists, but a few things are worth knowing before you go.

• Agadir, Marrakech and main tourist zones — generally safe with a visible police presence
• Solo women — dress modestly, avoid medinas at night without company
• Persistent vendors and "guides" — part of the local colour; a firm but polite refusal works well
• Alcohol available in licensed venues; do not drink in public
• Modest dress when visiting mosques and medinas — respect for local traditions is expected

Morocco is a shopper's paradise — argan oil, leather goods, spices and handwoven rugs top the list.

• Argan oil — Morocco's "liquid gold"; buy from certified women's cooperatives, not tourist shops
• Spices — ras el hanout (30+ spice blend), Taznaht saffron, cumin and harissa paste
• Leather goods from Fez — bags, poufs, handstitched babouche slippers
• Berber rugs and textiles — always bargain; the final price is typically half the opening offer
